  2. Download the corresponding converter tool, such as "e-Way Bill converter tool.xlsm" or "Consolidated e-Way Bill converter tool.xlsm." This tool converts multiple excel e-way bill or consolidated EWB entries into a single JSON file.
  3. Fill in the required details within the .xlsx excel template.
  4. Utilize the .xlsm converter tool to transform the excel file into a JSON file. The resulting JSON file is ready for upload.

The second method is recommended because the converter tool performs validation checks during the conversion from excel to JSON, identifying and reporting any errors for correction before the file is uploaded.

  1. Navigate to "How to Use" on the portal's home page.
  2. From the "Bulk Generation Tools" section, download the "Vehicle No Updation JSON Preparation" template.

  4. Once validated, click 'Prepare JSON' to create the ready-to-use JSON file.
